The provisional results of the PUCAFREU research were presented during the International conference <\/strong>\u00ab Unaccompanied and separated children lacking protection in Europe : What reasons lead to their lack of protection ? \u00bb <\/i>which took place at the Maison de Sciences de l\u2019Homme et de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 in Poitiers from the 22nd-24th October 2012<\/p>\n

Around a hundred participants took part in the 41 presentations split between the plenary sessions (25 presentations) and related workshops (16). A wide variety of countries were represented (mainly European but some from outside Europe) and also a large range of disciplines (lawyers, sociologists, psychologists, social workers, teachers, etc) including academics and practitioners working in the field. All the presentations were simultaneously translated into English and French.<\/p>\n
